Difference between Much and More!!!




Hey, There! Let's see the difference between “Much” and  “More” in our conversation


Much and more is a common English word. Usually we get confuse where to use much and more in our conversation.


Much


Much is word used to express the large amount which can’t expressed in numbers or in quantity. It is also used to express the extent of something. Much is use with Uncountable nouns. Uncountable nouns are nearly always singular, example: salt, cake etc., “Much:” is used in only questions and in negative sentences, not positive.


Here are some example;
  • I have so much work to do! 
  • It did not rain much during the match 
  • How much do you love me?
  • How much milk do you need in your tea?
  • How much salt is there in this recipe?
  • Train as much as possible, so you can be best
  • How much money will it cost me?



More


The word More to express the additional quantity of something. The word is mainly used for comparison. The word is used  to show the current quantity is more than previous thing.


Here are some examples
  • I need more money 
  • More peoples  are switching to our company
  • The vegetables are  more healthy than fast foods
  • Do you have more  drinks?
  • I want  some more coffee.
